SEMI. FUCKING. FINAL.Yup. Marco Chiudinelli has made the semi-final of the Swiss Indoor Open. In the town where he was born. To make it even more adorable, his opponent is his childhood friend, who was also born in the very same town. (Unfortunately, said friend's name is Roger Federer. Ah well.) But, still. He is playing brilliantly. At the end of last year he was ranked 779th. Today's win will have him nudging the top 50. That's pretty damn fucking spectacular, really. I am ever-so-slightly a little bit overcome. ETA: On the downside, he sounds way too much like Michael Schumacher. This disturbs me immensely. | |

| i can't believe stan's meltdown in the 3rd set. nole didn't even have to try in the 3rd.
such a fucking shame, and endlessly frustrating too, because stan was the better player for the most part of the 1st and 2nd set, until nole broke him back and then won the tiebreak. he was so close to winning it in 2. aaaagh.
why is stan always a headcase when faced in this situation against the top players? it's so frustrating, because he's more than able to make an upset, but it's always, always like this.
so fucking frustrated. and there goes my federinka dream final.
stan, here's hoping that 2010 will be many times more horror-free than this year. gah.
I don't know if i still want to watch roger match now. i know i kind of expect stan to lose against nole, but the way the match went and the way he lost it just make me... AGH. anyway. roger shouldn't have any problem with his match, he should be fine until final. | |

|  Right now, I want to shirk all sense of adult responsibilities and have an OC Marathon in which I do not leave the house for extra long weekend and watch the whole series from beginning to end whilst eating pizza, marshmallows and caramello koalas. But alas, things are sadly not that simple because I am big and grown up now but I did get to enjoy watching Novak be a sexy GQMF whilst handing our a double bagel in Basel which was almost as good, especially with the constant tongue action. Everything is about the same in my life, lots of coaching for the end of year competitions and applications for University. I just don't like having a dead journal, hence the pointless babbling in here. But I do have to say that today was totally made by Charlotte today when she presented me with a new piece of utterly adorable artwork ♥. And no, that is not a factual representation of Char because her head is not that large and it doesn't even come close to doing her supreme cuteness justice. I am starting to get seriously spoiled by these girls, I come home ego-boosted on a daily basis. :) (Now someone please jump in with their favourite OC moment so I can know I am not alone in my love of the complete epicness that was Caaaliforrrniaaa.) | |
